Curriculum vitae

Dr Joris C Verster is a researcher in Human Psychopharmacology at the Utrecht Institute for Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Utrecht, The Netherlands. Verster was born in Breda, the Netherlands in 1970. He graduated in 1997 with a major in Biopsychology. In 2002, Verster became a doctor in psychology. Verster has conducted several studies in human pschopharmacology. Research interests include effects of drugs on driving ability, sleep and sleep disorders, and alcohol (hangover) research. He is engaged in the educational program of the Faculty for Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Verster is a member of various international scientific societies, including Collegium Internationale Neuro-Psychopharmacologium (CINP), British Association for Psychopharmacology (BAP), British Sleep Society (BSS), Research Society on Alcoholism (RSA), and the American Psychological Association (APA).
